Mobor beach lies on a little peninsular between the Arabian Sea and Assolna River Estuary. Located in Salcete, Mobor is a fishing village with a beautiful beach south of Cavelossim. Mobor is part of the tripple beaches of Varca Cavelossim and Mobor just north of Rive Sal which are ideal destinations for those who are in search of solitude in Goa!
Mobor beach is located almost at the moth of Sal river at the southern end of Slacete coastline. Mobor is a narrow strip of land between the Arabian sea and the Assolna River Estuary. Mobor enjoys a pristine and serene10 kilometer long sandy beach. The stretch of beach which starts at Mobor continues up north un til Colva without any interruptions making it one of the longest stretch of beaches in Goa.
Located about a kilometer north of Mobor beach Cavelossim beach is another secluded beach. Dolphon watch boat trips and sunset cruises are very popular in Cavelossim.
Varca, a seemingly endless palm-backed strip of sand is quiet and almost entirely hawker-free, making it easy to find a quiet spot all to yourself. Located about 10 kilo meters from Mobor, Varca beach is predominantly a fishing village and the beach is marked by a number of fishing boats. Varca, Cavelossim, and Mobor is almost always spoken about together as they are beaches that are continuous without any thing seperating them.
Located at the confluence of Sal river with the sea south of Mobor beach, Betul is a quaint beach tucked away in South of Goa with the Baradi hillock in the backdrop. Overlooking the wide estuary Betul beach is beautifully shaded by palms.
